For a few years now, I've always wondered why some people feel so strongly about world peace, about everyone united, free of discrimination. I'd always pictured them some kind of stuck-up hippies that want everyone to be like them. But, after getting a view of the kind of horrible people around the web I've come across, I've almost considered becoming a hippie. In some cases, I feel the internet has changed my way of life.

It all started back on Habbo Hotel. You may think, "Wow! A great place fore teens and friends to hang around, and just chill." ... But, no, Habbo Hotel deep inside changed my view of online games: they are full of horrible people who just want to make you feel miserable. I made an account named 'Kittenpop', and I had lots of fun with her. I joined the 'Habbo Club', got free stuff, and I had a decked out room. This cost 20$ alone. Lots of people would drop by and visit, and I had run out of Habbo Coins fast. Unfortunately, there are a number of hackers (not nessesarily hackers, some just teens with horrible, cruel minds) that know who much people crave more Habbo Coins. So, a guy hung around in the corner of my room and kept talking about a website that got him free coins, and even posted a link. I decided to visit it, and it seemed pretty reliable. Many people had gotten what they asked for, and just entered their username and password. So I did, and moments later, my account was cleared of all furniture, items, and money. My 20+$ had been wiped of all value by a prissy teen with nothing better to do than make people's lives miserable. It wasn't even to his benefit-- you can't trade items, so all he did was delete everything to be miserable. That. Is. Just. Wrong.
I'm not finished with Habbo Hotel, ohhhh no... I decided to make another account. This was a stupid, stupid mistake. Her name was 'NikkyKitty', and I knew to watch for hackers. I joined Habbo Club, and even had a cat, along with tons of furniture. I loved my cat very, very much. Her name was Lucky, and, being honest, I would even talk to her when no one was around. Just chat, tell her how much I loved her, even though she was a virtual cat. I also ran out of coins, and was desperate. I always accepted random friend requests, and one guy came to my room. I told him how desperate I was for Habbo Coins. 'well u can do something u kno', he responded. In turn, he says: 'type ur password then control + m for money.' Of course, I'm a very, very, gullible person when it comes to have an advantage at an online game. After all, it's what I do for most of my life, sadly. Anyway, I fell to his evil, cruel, plot, and what I typed turned out as '*****' (I censored my password, just in case you yourself are a hacker...) and the guy logs out immediately. I get kicked off the server, come back to find half my items gone. I get kicked again, log back in, my money is gone. I get kicked again, the room is empty, except for my cat, Lucky. The guy walks in. I plead, I plead for my LIFE for him not to take the cat. Of course, he doesn't care, he's some priss rich kid who just LOVES to torture people, out of his cold, black heart. So, yes, I logged on again....

And my little Lucky was gone.
I cried for a while.
It was like being robbed, a feeling of weakness, out of your very own greed.

This was about four years ago.

Another thing that got my thinking were straight-on hackers. Hackers are everywhere, they're like bullies, they'll always be there to pick on you. The strange thing about hackers is they either try to scam people out of their hours of hard work and money just for pride, or a feeling of depriving people of something precious to them. Just like bullies, or robbers, but on something you enjoy... your computer.
Hackers can be anywhere, from that friendly player who helped you in that dungeon, to that retard who keeps posting FREE MONEY or GM BETA links. Or, they hack into the system to get you to give THEM your username and password.

What is even the POINT of hacking?
All hacking has ever done has scarred me. I have held a grudge from Habbo Hotel because of the hackers.

Does it give people a sense of PRIDE to deprive people of something they've spent their money and time on, and probably care about very much?

In my view, hacking is NO BETTER than robbing someone of all their belongings or taking something they care about, and, truly, it should be ILLEGAL to hack.
(that will be my first act if I ever become president...)

Off the topic of hacking (this is a recent thing I've noticed), another thing that really gets on my nerves is discrimination. Not only online, but in reality. Here is an ideal example, straight off of YouTube:

There's a really amazing American Idol contestant, Adam Lambert. He sings INCREDIBLY, better than I've ever seen. On one of his videos, there were tons of comments about his amazing singing, but one by a certain user by the name of*********** (I don't want to get her in trouble) that said 'ADAM LAMBERT IS GAY.'
Well, of course he is, but I just wanted to know if she had a problem with it.
'Why yes, he is. Do you have an issue with gay people?'
Another user then posted:
'yes and so does half of the US.'
This just DISGUSTS me! People discriminate people because of what they choose to believe in or do? He's a great singer and has great talent, but is disliked by many people because of his orientation? This isn't the only case. Discrimination is everywhere, and even I am discriminating people right now, people who hate gay people. So, a good way to approach it is just accept what they think. It's their choice, they can hate whatever they want. just take it slowly...

The internet is a fun place, sure, you can do nearly anything...
but deep inside, there are several cruel people where their soul purpose is to deprive you of all of your joy, all of your hard work and money. There are also people who will hate you just because of your skin color, your religion, or even your orientation, and simply disregard all the great things about you.

This is just a warning, the internet can hurt you in so many ways, or scar you for life. Just watch for these kinds of people, and your experience will be much more pleasant than mine.
